David Harewood, a British actor born on December 8, 1965, graduated from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and has over 30 years in the acting business, participating in both television and film. His hard work in both industries has been acknowledged by the Queen herself as he was awarded Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2012. Harewood was also awarded best male lead in the 2015 movie Free in Deed, and best actor in the Nashville Film Festival for the same movie . Being one of the few UK actors that have made their way into the ol’ American Hollywood spotlight, Harewood’s most notable performances have been in the blockbuster successes of Blood Diamond, The Brother’s Grimsby, MI-5and Showtime TV-Series, Homeland. David’s most recent performances have been made by the TV Networks AMC (US) and BBC (UK), appearing in Crime TV Mini-Series The Night Manager as well as starring in Supergirl on CBS and the 2017 hit new series, The Flash.
